Dashboard guide

Organize your library

Use essential views, nested collections, and tags to keep even a large bookmark library easy to browse.

Start with library views

These fixed sidebar views keep the different kinds of saved content easy to reach.

All items

Bookmarks, documents, tasks, and saved articles in one chronological feed, together with full-library search.

Write

A dedicated view for creating, editing, and browsing your encrypted documents.

Tasks

A focused list of next actions, with due-date and completion filters.

Readspace

Your saved articles and web highlights, ready when you want to return.

Favorites

Links marked with a heart, gathered into one quick-access view.

Unsorted

Links without a collection—useful as an inbox or temporary holding area.

Trash

Recently deleted bookmarks, documents, tasks, and articles that can still be restored.

Build a collection structure

Collections are best for broad, stable categories such as Projects, Reading, Research, or Recipes.

  1. 1

    Select + beside Collections

Enter a name, choose an optional color, and decide whether it is top-level or a subcollection.
  2. 2

    Reorder by dragging

Drag a collection vertically to change its position. Move it right over a top-level collection to nest it; drag left to move it back up.
  3. 3

    Manage the selected collection

Open a collection to rename it, change its color or parent, or delete it using the actions beside the heading.

Connect related bookmarks with tags

  • Add tags while creating or editing a bookmark.
  • Enter several tags with commas; FavLock normalizes them to lowercase.
  • Select any tag in the sidebar to see matching bookmarks across collections.
  • Rename or delete the selected tag with the actions beside the page heading.
