Dashboard guide
Meet your FavLock dashboard
The dashboard is where saved links, documents, tasks, and articles become a useful private library. Search everything, open favorites quickly, and organize it without losing sight of what matters.
The dashboard at a glance
FavLock keeps frequent actions in the main workspace and the structure of your library in the sidebar. On smaller screens, open the sidebar with the menu button.

What each area does
You can reach every major dashboard view from the sidebar. Counts beside an item show how many saved items it contains.
All items
Bookmarks, documents, tasks, and saved articles in one chronological library, with private search across all of them.
Bookmarks
Save, favorite, move, tag, and revisit useful links.
Write and tasks
Capture formatted documents, plan next actions, set due dates, and mark work complete.
Readspace
Keep encrypted, distraction-free article snapshots from the FavLock Chrome or Firefox extension.
Favorites
A focused view for links you return to often. Up to six favorites also appear below the web search bar.
Unsorted
Bookmarks that are not assigned to a collection. Use this as a lightweight inbox for later filing.
Collections
Fixed library views stay above your named, reorderable collections.
Tags
Flexible labels that connect related bookmarks across different collections.
Search
Search encrypted, locally indexed content as you type, then use numbered shortcuts to open the first nine bookmark matches.
Trash
Restore recently deleted bookmarks, documents, tasks, and articles before their recovery period expires.
Account tools
Manage preferences, import browser bookmarks, create encrypted backups, migrate an account, review security and usage, or contact support.
